The majority of student applications are dealt with by the school the student is studying at, and are relatively straightfoward (although under the new points system, the forms can be extremely long and complicated).

However, like all other immigration applications, mistakes and injustices do occur.

Situations which we have dealt with include:

1. Refusals where the college has gone out of business before becoming a listed sponsor.
   
   
2. Refusals where the Entry Clearance Officer has had suspicions about the validity of the course.
   
   
3. Refusals where the Entry Clearance Officer has decided that the Student has worked in excess of the permitted number of hours, or that the income has been indicative of that.
